Body of a female, white, Caucasian estimated to be 1-2 years old found April 5, 1971 in a 139-acre park (Echo Lake Park) known for its lake, boathouse, and other recreational facilities
Her height, weight, and eye color could not be determined. Her hair was described as blond/strawberry
All parts were recovered and it was described as "near complete/complete skeleton"
The remains were wrapped in white bed cover and tan baby blanket. A white linen men's handkerchief was also found with or near body
Clothing: white, thin blue stripes turtleneck with short sleeve shirt, light colored corduroy outfit that had straps over both shoulders, blue socks with red clock design. Also wearing a white disposable diaper with yellow safety pins

FBI FOIA came back with no information on clothing that was sent to th FBI Lab.
Union County, NJ OPRA request pending on medical examiner reports.
Union County, NJ OPRA request for medical examiner reports was received and processed. A two-page report from Dr. Bernard Ehrenberg, Medical Examiner, was provided to JJRF. It noted that only several small bones were missing from the skeleton. No fractures were present. No signs of disease were present. The child was wearing a light disposable diaper with yellow safety pins.
